An ambassador should stand for something before they ever stand for a brand.
We are looking for South Africans who are already contributing to a cause with care and consistency. You may lead a foundation, volunteer every week, mentor young people, protect a place, support a shelter or quietly meet a need in your own community. The shape of the work can differ. What matters is that it is real.
Social reach is not a requirement. This programme is about shared values, useful action and building a better South Africa through many small, sustained acts of care.

Ambassadors share James Weather through lived experience, honest conversation and participation in work that matters. In return, we support the whole person and look for tangible ways to strengthen the cause they already serve.
Care for the person
We look after the people doing the work. Selected ambassadors receive a considered supply of James Weather products, with space for rest and personal ritual.
Strength for the cause
We listen first, then offer practical support suited to the work. This may include resources, useful introductions, skills, volunteer time or a shared initiative.
A wider circle
When visibility would genuinely help, we use our platform to bring thoughtful attention to the cause, its people and the progress being made.
Purpose already in motion.
- You live in South Africa and are at least 18 years old.
- You already give your time, skills or resources to a cause.
- Your work serves people, place, education, wellbeing or the environment.
- You can show a consistent relationship with the work, not a once-off gesture.
- You believe influence is measured by what changes, not by who is watching.

Applications are considered individually. Selection does not promise funding, and support is shaped around what is responsible, useful and possible.
