How do I get help with an order?+
Email shopjamesweather@gmail.com with your order number and we will come back to you within one working day. For anything quicker, or if you are not sure about your order number, send us a direct message on Instagram or TikTok and we will find it for you.
Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?+
We ship across South Africa. Orders are packed within one to two working days, and courier delivery usually takes two to four working days in the major centres and three to five days to outlying areas. You will get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel leaves us.
How much is shipping?+
Shipping is a flat courier rate at checkout, and it is free on larger orders. The exact amount is shown before you pay, so there are no surprises on the final screen.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Checkout is secure and runs through PayFast, so you can pay by card, instant EFT, Snapscan or Zapper. We never see or store your card details.
Can I return THE OIL if it is not for me?+
Yes. Unopened bottles can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, and anything faulty or damaged in transit is replaced. Email shopjamesweather@gmail.com with a photo and your order number and we will sort it out.
Is THE OIL really for face, hair and body?+
It is. The same blend works as a facial oil, a hair and scalp oil, a body oil, a beard oil and a bath oil. That is the point of it: one bottle instead of four, so the counter stays clear.
Will it break out oily or acne prone skin?+
THE OIL is lightweight and fragrance free, and it absorbs rather than sitting on the surface. Most people with oily or combination skin use two to three drops at night with no trouble. If your skin is reactive, patch test on the jaw for a few days first.
Is it fragrance free, vegan and cruelty free?+
Yes to all three. There is no added fragrance, no mineral oil and no silicones, nothing is tested on animals and no animal derived ingredients are used.
What is in it, and where do the botanicals come from?+
A blend of African botanicals including marula and Kalahari melon seed oil, each traceable to a region and to the people who grow and gather it. The full ingredient list sits on the product page.
How long does one bottle last?+
Used daily on the face, and a few times a week on hair and body, a bottle typically lasts two to three months. Once opened, use it within twelve months and keep it out of direct sunlight.
Do you offer wholesale, gifting or press samples?+
We do. Email shopjamesweather@gmail.com with a short note about your store, hamper or publication and we will send our stockist and press information.
Do you ship outside South Africa?+
Not through the website yet. If you are ordering from elsewhere in Africa, the UK or the US, email us and we will let you know what is possible.
